I was looking for good ideas for cupcakes, and I stumbled upon your site, I am an American mother of two who has just recently lost her job ( one of the millions of Americans who have) - And I want to say! THANK YOU for being supportive of President elect Barack Obama.. I am so happy and hopeful that the world will start seeing us as good people again! =)

Your cupcakes, and your politics, rock my socks :)

I was loving your site until I saw this picture.

Now I've lost my appetite.

stick to cake, not politics. it's less polarizing, and more pleasurable.

the world is a more dangerous (and poorer) place thanks to this fraud we Americans must deal with for a while.

I don't know where you have gotten your info. But the U.S. has the best medical treatment in the world. Why do you think people from other countries come here all the time for treatment. Also we have something called medicaid and medicare for those who cannot afford healtcare or insurance. If you have watched the news for our country, Obama has caused nothing but trouble and his approval rate has dropped below 50%. He has made empty promises and caused trouble for everyone! Do a little research!

Yea, I too am disappointed that you thought this was necessary to post in with your cupcakes... Why didn't you go to a political site to post instead? So sad.

I know I'm fairly late (as I've just discovered your blog today!) but as an American, I'm very disappointed with some of the comments people have left here. Whether some American's like it or not, Obama has made history and I think it's a good thing that people from lands as far away as Australia can recognize and be happy for him. For us. Ok, his health care proposals haven't gone as he'd planned for us but after Bush, which is worse? Going to war or fighting for more health care in the US?

So, to Le Cupcake founder, THANK YOU for recognizing Obama as a great man. I'm proud to be an American and to be African American and to be a part of this history. =)
